A service book, prepared by the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese.

Contains the most frequently used prayers and services of the Orthodox Church, including the basic text of the the Divine Liturgy, Vespers, Orthros (Matins), Baptism, Chrismation, Marriage, and Funeral.

Appropriate for lay use. Note: Priests and chanters might be more interested in "Divine Prayers and Services" by Nassar.

It is a hardcover book bound in maroon cloth with a gold cross of Antioch on the cover, and "Service Book" in gold on the spine, without a printed dust jacket.

The English style of the prayers is traditional, employing Elizabethan forms to some degree. Translated from Greek and Arabic books. (The translations are the same as those found in the much smaller and less complete "Pocket Prayer Book for Orthodox Christian.")
